Fabien Cousteau’s OLC Fundraiser
In July 2020 I was invited to set the tone and frame the energy of a fundraiser for the protection and restoration of our precious coral. I had unknowingly performed for the CEO of Fabien Cousteau’s (Grandson of Jacques Cousteau, the pioneer of marine conservation) foundation 3 years back at one of the most monumental performances of my life. I was performing for almost 28 hours straight to help raise awareness over our long-standing refugee crisis as a part of a performance art piece I produced. Years later we reconnected as I presented my musical offerings as part of an event for the Peace Boat while it was docked in NYC.
These not-so coincidental encounters seemed to make it very clear we both were carrying a powerful intention to tackle some of the World’s most dire crises.
The Fabien Cousteau’s Ocean Learning Center Fundraiser was our first opportunity to put our passions and super powers together to make a stand for a cause we believed in.
